Why track prices on Daraz
Daraz prices change often. Sellers adjust their own prices, Daraz runs campaign days and flash sales, and nearly every product shows a big discount badge such as "-43%" next to a struck-out price. That badge compares against a price the seller chose. It doesn't tell you what the product actually sold for last month.
A price tracker keeps that record for you. It checks the product on a schedule, saves each price, and sends a notification when the price falls or reaches your target. You can see whether a sale price is really lower than usual before you buy.
How to set up a Daraz price alert
- Open the product in the Daraz app or in Chrome. If it has options, such as colour, size or model, choose the one you want. Each option can have a different price.
- Tap Share, then Droplert. Or copy the product link and paste it into Droplert.
- Tap the product's price. Droplert opens the page and remembers where the price is. Check that the amount it found is the price you expected, then tap Track it.
- Choose how often to check. Hourly works well for flash sales. Daily or every three days is enough for something you are not in a hurry to buy. Add a target price if you know what you want to pay.
The Daraz price on the page vs the price at checkout
This is the part that confuses most people. A Daraz product page shows one price, and the amount you pay at checkout is often different. Knowing why helps you read your alerts correctly.
What the page shows
The large price at the top is the current selling price. Beside it you'll usually see a struck-out price and a discount percentage. Track the large price.
Vouchers, promos and coins
Below the price there may be a line such as "Rs. 560 off with Promo". Store vouchers, platform vouchers and vouchers bought with Daraz Coins are applied at checkout, and many only apply above a minimum order amount. They aren't part of the page price, so Droplert doesn't include them. When an alert arrives, check which vouchers you have. The real price may be lower than the alert says.
Payment discounts
During campaigns, some banks and wallets such as Easypaisa or JazzCash in Pakistan offer extra discounts or cashback at checkout. Like vouchers, these depend on how you pay, so they don't appear in the page price.
Delivery fees
The delivery charge is shown separately, in the delivery section, and depends on your address and the seller. It isn't added to the price you track. Free-delivery campaigns can make a product cheaper overall without the page price moving at all.
Product options
Many Daraz listings put several versions under "Product Options": a wired and a wireless mouse, three sizes of the same shoe, a phone case for different models. They can have different prices and different stock. Pick the one you want before you share it, and check that Droplert confirms the price for that option.
11.11, flash sales and other Daraz campaigns
11.11 is the biggest Daraz sale of the year, held in November across the countries where Daraz operates. There are other numbered campaign days through the year too, such as 12.12, and local events like the 8.8 sale in Pakistan.
- Start tracking two or three weeks before 11.11. A campaign badge says how much is off, not what the price was before. With a few weeks of your own history, you can check whether the sale price is really lower.
- Use hourly checks for flash sales. Flash Sale prices can last only a few hours. On the free plan, hourly is the fastest check. The optional upgrade checks as often as every 15 minutes.
- Set a minimum change. Daraz prices can move by a few rupees during a campaign. A minimum-change threshold stops those small wobbles from sending alerts.
- Collect vouchers separately. Campaign vouchers are claimed in the Daraz app. Droplert tells you when the page price is right. Your vouchers can take it lower.
Daraz in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal
The steps are the same on daraz.pk, daraz.com.bd, daraz.lk and daraz.com.np. Droplert detects the currency from each page, so a product on Daraz Bangladesh is tracked in taka and one on Daraz Pakistan in rupees.
One watchlist can mix them. If you are comparing a gadget on Daraz with the same item on AliExpress or a local brand's own website, add all of them and see which one drops first.
When a Daraz check fails
Daraz sometimes changes its page design, and sellers sometimes take listings down. When a check can't find the price, Droplert flags the product and tries again on the next run. If it keeps failing, open the product and tap the price again so Droplert re-learns it. If the page itself no longer shows the product, the listing has probably ended, and it's worth searching Daraz for the same item from another seller.
