Terms of service

The deal between you and us, written to be read. By installing or using Droplert, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

01Who we are

Droplert is made by InovA, the trading name of Shahzaman, an independent developer in Islamabad, Pakistan ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the Droplert Android app and the droplert.app website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and is part of these terms.

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK) to use Droplert. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

02What Droplert does

Droplert is a personal tool. You add product pages you're interested in, and the app opens them on your phone on a schedule, reads the price and alerts you when it changes. No account is needed, and your watchlist stays on your device.

Droplert isn't a store. We don't sell the products you track, we aren't part of any purchase you make, and we aren't responsible for a store's products, prices, delivery or customer service.

We keep improving Droplert, so features may change, be added or be removed. We'll try to give notice before removing something you've paid for.

03Prices and alerts

We work hard to read prices correctly, but stores change their pages, show different prices to different visitors, run limited-time offers and sometimes block automated visits. So:

  • a price shown in Droplert may be out of date, wrong, or in the wrong currency;
  • checks run on a schedule, not continuously, and can be delayed by your phone's battery settings, your connection or the store;
  • some stores or products can't be tracked at all.
Always confirm the price on the store's own site before you buy. Droplert helps you notice changes. It isn't a guarantee of any price.

04Using Droplert fairly

Use Droplert for your own personal shopping. Please don't:

  • use it to break any law, or a website's terms that apply to you;
  • use it to overload, attack or disrupt any website, for example by tracking huge numbers of pages at very short intervals;
  • resell, rent or offer Droplert, or data collected with it, as a commercial service;
  • copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
  • bypass or tamper with purchases, licensing, ads or security features, or use modified or pirated copies of the app.

You're responsible for the links you add and for how you use the information Droplert shows you.

05Upgrades and subscriptions

Droplert is free to download and use. Optional upgrades unlock extra features. The current options and prices are shown in the app and on Google Play, in your local currency and including any applicable taxes.

  • Payments. All purchases are processed by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service. We never see your payment details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Free trials. If a trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Trial eligibility is decided by Google Play.
  • Lifetime unlock. A one-time purchase that gives you the upgraded features for as long as we offer and support Droplert, on devices signed in with the Google account you bought it with.
  • Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. If something went wrong, email us and we'll do what we can to help.
  • Restoring. Use Restore purchase in the app, signed in to the same Google account.
  • Rewarded extras. Watching an optional ad can unlock a temporary benefit, such as extra slots or a short trial. These benefits expire as stated in the app and have no cash value.
  • Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Google Play will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.

06Ads

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. We don't control the content of individual ads and don't endorse the products advertised. See our Privacy Policy for your ad choices.

Droplert earns nothing from the stores you track. We don't take commissions, and no store pays for placement in the app.

07Stores and trademarks

Droplert works with websites we don't own or control. Your use of any store is governed by that store's own terms and privacy policy.

Store and product names shown in Droplert or on our website, such as Amazon, AliExpress, eBay, Daraz or Noon, are trademarks of their owners. They're used only to describe where Droplert can be used. Droplert isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of these companies.

08Our app, your data

Droplert's app, design, name, logo and content belong to Shahzaman, trading as InovA. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Droplert on devices you own or control, under these terms and the Google Play terms.

Your watchlist is yours. It lives on your device, and we don't claim any rights to it.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Droplert without owing you anything. We'll never publish your name without asking.

09Disclaimers

Droplert is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises, express or implied, that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that prices, alerts or other information will be accurate, complete or timely. Some countries don't allow these exclusions. Where that's the case, they apply only as far as the law allows.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. That includes money spent, savings or deals missed, or purchase decisions made because of information in Droplert, and loss of data on your device.

Our total liability to you for any claim about Droplert is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Droplert in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10.

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11Ending these terms

You can stop using Droplert at any time by uninstalling it. Cancel any active subscription in Google Play first, because uninstalling doesn't cancel it.

If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by using pirated copies or abusing websites through Droplert, we may stop providing upgraded features to you. Sections 8 to 12 continue to apply after these terms end.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes go to the courts of Islamabad. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts.

Before going to court, please email us. Most problems can be fixed with a conversation.

13Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Droplert changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app beforehand. If you keep using Droplert after changes take effect, you accept the new terms.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right right away, we haven't given it up.
